Dyson BP02 Carbon Filter Still Unavailable
I purchased a Dyson BP02 Big+Quiet air purifier from the official Dyson website on 18 November 2025. Since the day of purchase, it has been impossible to obtain a carbon filter replacement for this model. I consider the carbon filter to be an essential consumable for the proper and safe functioning of the air purifier, and the fact that no replacement is available makes the product effectively unusable in the medium to long term. On my credit card statement, the transaction clearly appears with the purchase date, the amount paid, and Dyson as the merchant name, and I can provide these details if needed. I find it unacceptable that a premium air purifier is sold without ensuring the ongoing availability of such a critical replacement part from day one. My expectation is that Dyson either promptly provides a compatible carbon filter replacement that will allow me to continue using the BP02 Big+Quiet air purifier as intended or, if this is not possible, arranges a total refund of the amount I paid for the device. If the carbon filter remains unavailable in the near future, for example, within one month, I intend to file a complaint with the Ministry of Trade requesting that Dyson’s authorization be reviewed on the grounds that they are failing to provide an essential part that, by law, should be kept in stock. I kindly request that this issue be resolved as soon as possible and that I be informed in writing about the solution offered.

Standard corporate reply. Translation: No filter miltre, figure it out yourself. We got the money, the rest is none of our business. I looked for this filter in the US, the UK, and Japan; it's not available there either. In Japan I found an aftermarket filter that is claimed to be compatible with the BP02; maybe I'll get that as a last resort.
