Duolingo Says “No Such Account Exists” After Login Attempt

February 22 3:23 PM13

I was using the Duolingo app on my Android device with an account registered through my email address. Today, without any warning, my account was closed. When I try to log in again, I receive an error message stating that “no such account exists,” and I am completely unable to access my account.

At the time, I was in the Obsidian League and had a 58-day streak. Losing my streak and league status—both of which I built through consistent effort—without any explanation has caused me significant frustration and disappointment.

I request that Duolingo restore my closed account, if possible, and reinstate my 58-day streak and my status in the Obsidian League. If restoring the account is not technically possible, I ask that my current streak and league level be applied to a new account that I create. I also request a clear explanation regarding what happened to my account.
