DS Damat Refused to Honor Tagged Price on Shirt Despite Displaying ₺3450
At the DS Damat store in Capacity, I tried on M and L size shirts, both with an original, non-discounted price tag of ₺3450. Both shirts displayed the same price. However, when the cashier scanned the tag, it came up as ₺3950, and they informed me that they couldn’t adjust the price since they didn’t have the necessary device. I mentioned that, by law, I should be able to purchase the item at the price shown on the tag, but they insisted they couldn’t sell it at that price. When I stated I would file a complaint with the relevant authorities, they replied, "You may do so," and reiterated that they couldn’t sell the item at the tag price. I took a photo of the label and will be reporting this deceptive pricing to the Ministry of Trade and other legal authorities, regardless of the outcome. This issue is caused by the company, not the customer, and it’s a result of the careless attitude of their irresponsible staff.
