Discover Cars Charged Me Twice for a Rental—Only Offering Partial Refund
On January 30, 2024, I had a car rental reservation with Discover Cars (D009497910). However, due to a delayed shuttle service (which the company was responsible for) and damage to our luggage at the airport, we arrived late to pick up the car. As a result, we were denied the vehicle and forced to make a new reservation and pay again for another car.
At the time, we were assured that the first reservation would be fully refunded. However, despite sending multiple emails to Discover Cars, they only responded after a long delay and stated that they would refund only half of the amount.
Since this delay was entirely beyond our control, I demand a full refund for the first booking. Discover Cars, you charged me twice for a service I never received—this is unacceptable! Has anyone else faced a similar issue? I expect a prompt resolution!
