Detectico Charged Me for an Unwanted Service — Refund Refused

On October 30, 2025, while attempting to purchase a $0.87 trial plan on Detectico’s foreign-language website, an additional $8.38 was charged to my card for an assistant service that I did not intend to buy. In total, two separate charges were made to my account.
I immediately contacted the company’s support team, but they informed me that accidentally purchased products cannot be refunded, and instead suggested that I use the service for one month — even though I never wanted it in the first place. I find this response unacceptable, as I shouldn’t have to pay for a service I never used or authorized.
Although my subscriptions have been canceled, my account remains active (email: u******@gmail.com**). The transaction is still in pending (authorization) status, and I plan to initiate a chargeback through my bank today.
I’m requesting a full refund for the unintended and unused service, and I urge Detectico to review its unfair refund policy for accidental purchases.
