Dell 5530 Laptop Defect and Return Failure
I purchased a Dell 5530 laptop and contacted the seller, Beta Computer, about the invoice and issues with the screen/lid flexing and a gap in the bottom case. They referred me to Dell service. I spent about two weeks communicating with Dell service via phone and email. In the end, Dell service concluded that the issue wasn’t their responsibility but rather that of the seller or even the shipping company.
The seller has denied my return request, stating that the 14-day return period has passed, the seller requires a return report, and the product is no longer in resalable condition. Dell service, on the other hand, directed me back to the seller instead of issuing a return report. After two months, no one is taking responsibility for the product.
