Deborah Foundation Caused Burning Sensation, Watsons Refused Exchange

On October 31, 2025, I purchased a Deborah brand foundation from the Watsons store located at Sırrıpaşa Street No:91, Şarkiye Neighborhood, Altınordu, Ordu. When I tried the product on my skin the same day, it caused a very strong odor and a burning sensation. I had previously used a different foundation from the same brand without any issues, so this experience was unexpected and concerning.

When I contacted the store, I was told that they could not take any action and that I needed to contact the call center. When I spoke with customer service, I was told that the products had passed allergy tests and that there were no issues, and therefore no return or exchange could be made. In addition, when I asked the store about the product’s expiration date, I was not given a clear answer—only that it should be used within one year after opening. However, every product also has a shelf life before opening, and the lack of clear information on this point has caused me inconvenience as a consumer. No information about return or exchange conditions was provided at the time of purchase either.

I am requesting that this negative experience be resolved and that, at the very least, the product be exchanged for a different item.
