While browsing CV Maker to explore their resume-building services, I was shocked to find out that an account had been automatically created in my name and ₺259.34 was withdrawn from my bank account—without any prior notice, confirmation, or approval from me. I never completed a purchase, accepted a membership, or agreed to any automatic subscription. The transaction was processed entirely online, and my payment reference number is 7898135.
Shortly after, I even received an email stating I would be charged again in May, implying a recurring subscription I never authorized. I contacted their customer support to clarify the situation, only to receive a blunt, unhelpful message saying “You have a pending payment—pay it.” No explanation, no resolution, just an extremely rude response.
Nowhere in the service terms or user agreement was I informed about automatic billing or recurring charges. This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me, and it’s completely unacceptable.
I demand an immediate refund of the ₺259.34 that was taken without my consent. CV Maker must stop these unauthorized billing practices and properly inform users before creating accounts or initiating charges. Fix this now.
