I purchased my Cupra Formentor expecting high quality, but despite repeatedly visiting Doğuş Oto Kartal service, my car continues to have persistent and unresolved issues. I reported suspension noise (especially from bushings) multiple times, yet all they did was apply grease and return the car. The problem clearly lies in the bushings and the suspension system.
My center console would light up on its own, and when I reported it, they asked for a video including the mileage and VIN. I submitted the video as requested, but a week later I was told nothing had been done because the video was "not accepted by the warranty." In fact, they had simply forgotten to process it. I refused to take the car back and demanded a replacement vehicle, which I received—yet the console still freezes intermittently, and at times the sunroof and lighting buttons stop working altogether.
When I visited the service for a sunroof not closing properly, they replaced the trim. However, I received the car back with foam visibly sticking out between the headliner and the roof. After that, strange noises started coming from the roof and side pillars. Even after an isolation treatment, the noises persist.
I also pointed out that the sunroof doesn’t close evenly, one side lags behind, but was told it was “normal.” A buzzing sound from the front was also dismissed multiple times. On May 8, 2025, after several visits, they finally diagnosed a turbo wastegate error, which was allegedly fixed.
On May 24, 2025, while getting the brake pads replaced, I once again reported the noise, but they claimed it was “normal operation.” Now it’s June 2, 2025, and although the noise is less than before, it’s still clearly audible. I’ve also repeatedly mentioned the car jerks when cold, but no action has been taken and I’m not sure they even checked.
The most frustrating part is that none of these problems are resolved permanently. During warranty, they offer fixes, but now that it's expired, they dodge responsibility and push for costly replacements instead. I've been to the service 6–7 times, each time wasting my time and energy, while no issue has ever been truly fixed.
As a customer, I feel neglected and frustrated. A car of this class should not come with endless defects and poor service. I demand that all unresolved mechanical and interior faults be repaired under warranty or goodwill, and expect a clear explanation and written assurance from Cupra and Doğuş Oto. Please resolve within 14 days.
