I invested around $21,000 USD into my Crypto.com Onchain wallet, planning to hold it as a long-term investment. But without warning, my funds were redirected into a “mining reward program.” The app claimed I could earn 1 ETH if I deposited an additional 1 ETH, but after doing so, they kept demanding more money for taxes, formalities, and incomplete deposits.
Even after I overpaid the requested amount, new payment requests continued, each time with a different excuse. Whenever I contacted Crypto.com Onchain support, instead of resolving the issue, they simply insisted that I send more funds.
I eventually told them that I didn’t want any reward — I just wanted my initial investment refunded. But my account was locked, and no refund has been made. The transaction (ID: 144494) occurred through the Crypto.com Onchain mobile app and has been unresolved for over a month. Later, they even provided a so-called agreement to make the situation look legitimate.
All I want is my $21,000 principal returned, even if a reasonable deduction is applied. This experience shows how vulnerable crypto investors can be when platforms misuse their trust. I demand that Crypto.com Onchain immediately refund my funds and stop misleading users with deceptive “reward programs.”
