Columbia Sold Me Waterproof Trainers That Absorbed Water Like a Sponge

49

I bought a pair of Columbia Crestwood Waterproof trainers on September 11, 2024, from the Kusadasi AVM Columbia Shop in Turkey. On the first rainy day, the trainers absorbed a significant amount of water, feeling like soaked sponges inside. This was extremely disappointing, considering I specifically chose a waterproof model for outdoor activities. I filed a complaint, and the company conducted an examination. However, they claimed there were no production or material defects and rejected my complaint. Their response felt dismissive as if they didn’t take my concerns seriously. I purchased these trainers specifically because they were advertised as waterproof, but they clearly failed to deliver on that promise. I expected much better quality from the Columbia brand.
