Columbia Sold Me 'Waterproof Boots' That Leaked and Blamed Me for the Issue

I purchased a Columbia waterproof Granite Trail boot on 17/11/2023. I live in Aydın, where winters are mild, almost like autumn, with soft weather conditions. As a result, I only wore the boots a few times. However, during heavy rain, water completely soaked into my boots, despite them being advertised as "waterproof." I returned them to the store where I purchased them, and they sent the boots for examination. The response I received blamed the issue on the customer's use. I requested a second examination, but when the boots were returned to me, they came in a severely damaged and torn box—not the original one I sent, which had proper labels and information. The note inside stated, "The issue is due to customer use, no problem with the material used." This response is unacceptable. Additionally, when I called customer service to discuss the matter, the representative I spoke to was extremely rude and dismissive. When I asked, "If I can't explain my problem to you or prove that there's an actual issue, what should I do? Where should I seek help?" her response was, "You will find out then." This entire shopping experience has been a complete disaster.

No one contacted me regarding the complaint I wrote.
