Columbia Fleece Jacket Defect Leads to Denied Exchange Request
On December 10, 2025, I purchased a Columbia Men’s Outdoor Polar Fleece Jacket (5170 Winter Pass Reversible Fleece, model 2135651397) from the Jepublic Outlet Center İzmit store. Despite using the product for only a short time, I noticed defects on it and returned it to the store.
When I brought the product back, I requested an exchange. The item was sent for inspection, but my exchange request was denied after the review. When I followed up with the store, I was told that I could file a claim with the Consumer Arbitration Committee if I wanted a refund. I paid approximately $250 for this product, and I do not accept the rejection of my exchange request despite the defects that I believe are related to manufacturing.
I request that the product be evaluated as defective and that I be provided with either a full refund or a replacement with the same model in proper condition.
