Columbia Delta Ridge II Down Jacket Leaks Feathers After Three Wears

On February 15, 2026, I purchased a Columbia Delta Ridge II Down Jacket (model WO8412) from the Columbia store at StarCity Mall in Yenibosna, Istanbul, for approximately $231 at the current exchange rate. After wearing the jacket only three times in total, I noticed feathers starting to come out through the seams. Since this is a laser-cut, stitched down jacket, I did not expect this kind of problem, so I returned it to the same store on March 15, 2026.
The store employee also said they were surprised to see this much feather leakage and told me that this was not something they would normally expect from a product like this, so the jacket needed to be sent in for inspection. The product was sent for review, and about 10 days later I received a negative response from Columbia customer service stating that there was no material or manufacturing defect and that the item could not be replaced. I do not accept the rejection of my replacement request for an issue that is clearly not user-related, especially since I used the product only a few times and even the store staff agreed that this level of feather leakage was unusual.
I paid a high price for this jacket because I trusted it would be durable and high quality, and I am requesting a replacement in light of the problem I experienced. I also ask that the inspection process be repeated and evaluated more thoroughly this time so that my complaint can be resolved.

On 15.02.2026, I took the wo8412 Delta Ridge II Down Jacket I purchased from the Columbia store to the store on 15.03.2026 because feathers were coming out from the seams. The store staff sent the product for inspection, but after 10 days I received a negative response from Columbia customer service stating that there is no material or manufacturing defect and that an exchange cannot be made. I cannot accept this and I am requesting a product exchange.
