On February 14, 2026, I purchased a Columbia Arctic Crest Down Jacket (model code 2088781429, WO5258, blue color, size XL) from the Columbia store at Samsun Piazza Mall. As someone who has been using Columbia products for a long time, I wore the jacket only under normal conditions, yet stitching failures appeared in two different spots on the front.
As a result, on March 20, 2026, I returned the jacket to the same store where I purchased it, filled out a product inspection form, and sent it in for review under support form number 2-79719. On March 26, I was contacted by phone and informed that the inspection result was denied. However, no explanation was provided for this decision. I do not accept that a product with clearly visible stitching defects can be rejected without any justification.
First, I request a clear and written explanation of why the inspection was denied. Then, if possible, I request a replacement of the product; if that is not possible, a full refund of the amount I paid; and if neither is possible, I request that my product be re-evaluated more thoroughly. My trust in the Columbia brand has been seriously damaged by this process, and I expect my grievance to be resolved as soon as possible.
