Unknown Funds Deposited in My Citibank Account – Requesting Return to Sender

A deposit has unexpectedly appeared in my Citibank account, but I do not recognize the bank and am not expecting any funds. To ensure that the rightful owner receives their money, I am urgently requesting that Citibank contact me and arrange for the funds to be returned to the sender’s account. I do not want to be responsible for holding someone else’s money by mistake. I expect Citibank to resolve this situation promptly by facilitating the return of these funds to the appropriate sender, as I have no connection to this transaction.
