I Experience Harsh Jerking When Parking My Chery Tiggo 7 Pro on Inclines
I purchased a new Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, and I’ve been dealing with a serious issue that happens whenever I park the vehicle on an incline—whether uphill or downhill. After starting the car and shifting into gear, there's a loud thud and a noticeable jolt that shakes the vehicle. This issue does not occur when parked on flat ground, so the terrain clearly plays a role.
To be certain, I tested the same maneuver with another Tiggo 7 Pro of the same year and model—there were no such symptoms. I then visited two different authorized service centers, and both confirmed the problem and acknowledged it as a defect involving the hill-start assist or transmission system. However, they also told me there’s currently no fix available.
What frustrates me most is that I’m not alone—many other Tiggo 7 Pro owners have reported the same problem, and yet there’s still no clear action from Chery. The issue is known, confirmed, and affecting the driving experience and perceived safety, yet Chery has failed to issue a proper recall or technical service bulletin.
I demand Chery headquarters take immediate steps to resolve this issue for all affected customers. If this is ignored, I will be forced to pursue legal action. We paid for a quality vehicle and expect Chery to take accountability and deliver a technical solution.
