I purchased a Chery Omoda 5 in September 2023, expecting reliability. However, in February 2025, my car suddenly displayed an ERP/ERC error and slowed down in the middle of the road. I barely managed to pull over safely.
This issue kept happening, and after multiple incidents, my car was finally towed to Bursa Ovaakça Service Center on February 26, 2025. While C*** Bey at the service center has been helpful**, they admit they have never encountered this issue before and are still testing.
I purchased this car to drive to work safely with my baby, yet I’ve now been without a vehicle for 14 days. When I requested a loaner car, I was told that Chery had only assigned two vehicles, both of which were already given to other customers.
I even contacted Chery Turkey, but there is no real customer service—just a secretary saying, "Your request has been received," with no actual follow-up. This is unacceptable for a brand-new vehicle under warranty, with no scratches or damages!
For two weeks, I’ve been paying for taxis while my baby’s car seat remains unused in my undrivable car. Chery, fix this issue immediately and provide me with a loaner vehicle! No customer should be left stranded like this after purchasing a new car.
