Chatmatch Message Glitch Problem - New Messages Disappear Upon Opening App!

I've been using the Chatmatch app for a long time and was very happy with it until now. But things have gotten worse since Sunday because I suddenly started having problems with my messages. I still get notifications, and I can even see the new messages on the main screen. But as soon as I open the app, they go away. It's really annoying because I have to ask people to repeat what they already wrote, which makes conversations awkward and hard to keep going. It's hard to meet new people or stay in touch when messages keep disappearing.
