I am writing to report a problem I experienced with the Insurance Orchard coverage purchased through Carjet for my car rental. I had a one‑time car rental in Valletta, Malta, with Mia Car Rentals, and on 22 March 2026, I had my first-ever damage incident with a rental car. Mia Car Rentals charged me 195 euros for the damage. When I submitted this amount to Insurance Orchard for reimbursement under the insurance I bought via Carjet, the claim was refused. The stated reason was that my transaction and payment went to Mia Car Rentals and did not correspond to the car supplier Carwiz in Malta, so they declined to pay. However, the rental in Malta was made in good faith, and I purchased the Carjet/Insurance Orchard product precisely to be covered in a damage situation like this. Since this incident, I have contacted the involved parties many times, but the issue has not been resolved and my refund has still not been paid. My Carjet reference number is CJT201850310. I request that the damage amount of 195 euros, which I have already paid to Mia Car Rentals, be fully reimbursed to me as per the coverage conditions I purchased through Carjet and Insurance Orchard, and that my case be reviewed and resolved without any further delay.
