Canva Unauthorized Charges Continued for One Year
For approximately one year, my Akbank card has been charged around $6 every month under the name Canva, even though I have never started a subscription. Most recently, on September 12, 2026, another charge of approximately $6 appeared as a “Foreign POS Sale” transaction. I have never signed up for Canva, purchased a subscription, or authorized any of these transactions.
After noticing the charges, I contacted Akbank and was advised to cancel my card. I therefore transferred my money to another bank account. Nevertheless, I want the reason for these unauthorized charges to be investigated and explained, and I request that any subscription that does not belong to me be canceled immediately. If there is a subscription associated with my Canva account, I also request written information explaining how and when it was activated.
I request a full refund to my bank card for all charges made without my knowledge or authorization during the past 5–6 months. I also request that all necessary security checks be performed on my account to ensure that I do not experience any further unauthorized charges.
