Boyner Denies Claim Over Calvin Klein Shoes Falsely Advertised as 100% Leather
On May 24th, I purchased a pair of Calvin Klein Sticker model shoes from the Boyner store at Trabzon Forum Mall. When I bought the product, the sales associate in the store specifically told me the shoes were 100% leather, and the product description on Boyner's website also stated "100% leather," so I trusted both Boyner and the brand and chose this product based on that. However, after using the shoes normally for about a month, the leather on one of the shoes started peeling.
When I showed the product to a shoe repair specialist, he said there was no tear or damage to the leather, that the peeling was coming from the coating on the shoe, and that this could be a manufacturing-related problem. He also stated that the product was not genuine full leather as I had been told and as stated on the website.
Based on these findings, I submitted the product to Boyner for inspection, but the inspection result rejected my request entirely, without taking my concerns into account, and gave only a standard, negative response. Experiencing this kind of peeling despite short-term and careful use, the product not actually being 100% leather as promised, and the lack of a customer-focused approach during the inspection process have seriously shaken my trust in both Boyner and the brand.
To resolve the problem I've experienced, I am requesting an exchange for a different product of equal value to the price of the shoes, and I also request that the necessary investigation be conducted and corrected regarding the false/misleading information given to customers both in-store and on the website.
Boyner officials have not responded to me or taken any step towards solving the problem.
