I Waited 41 Days for a BYD Car Part and Still Got No Clear Answer

“As of May 6th, I received my vehicle in perfect condition. It was a long and exhausting process. I would like to thank Manager Hasan from Kar Oto Service who helped me during this process.”

I dropped off my BYD vehicle at Kar Otomotiv Istanbul service center on February 26 after being involved in an accident. As of April 7, it's been 41 days, and I’m still waiting for a single replacement part. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I’ve called the BYD headquarters, the authorized dealer, and the service center, and not a single person can give me a concrete answer on when the part will arrive. How is it that a company selling brand-new vehicles doesn’t have a functioning parts supply system?

To put things in perspective: I ordered a completely unrelated product from China through a marketplace, and it was delivered to me in 8 days. Yet BYD—with all of its official channels—can’t source a necessary vehicle part in over a month.

This kind of poor logistics and zero accountability damages consumer trust. If this is how post-sales support works, it makes me question the reliability of BYD as a brand.
