BYD Car AC Failure Not Fixed for 2.5 Months After Purchase

I purchased my BYD vehicle on May 24, 2025, and after using it for only about 20 days, the air conditioning stopped cooling properly. I took it to the Elazığ Elpa BYD service center, where the staff were polite and did their best. They delivered the car back to me after inspection.

However, just 15 days later, the same issue reappeared. When I returned to the service center, I was told that the AC motor needed replacement. For a brand-new car, this is unacceptable. Even though it might not seem like a major issue to some, buying a new vehicle and facing repeated failures within the first month is extremely frustrating.

On July 1, 2025, they told me the replacement part would arrive within 7 business days. I agreed and continued driving the car, enduring the summer heat without AC. Two weeks passed with no update, so I called them myself. They said they were still waiting for a response from headquarters.

Now, it has been 2.5 months since the first failure and about 2 months since they first promised the part would arrive, yet nothing has been resolved. On August 23, 2025, I called again and was told they were still waiting on headquarters.

I am requesting that BYD urgently supply and replace the defective AC motor under warranty. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will proceed with legal action to protect my consumer rights.
