Budget Tivat Airport Has Not Refunded €496 Deposit for Dacia Sandero After One Month
On June 23, I rented a Dacia Sandero from the Budget office at Tivat Airport through Booking.com with insurance included. During the rental, a total deposit of €496 (300 + 196) was blocked from my card. As instructed by the office, I returned the car outside working hours by parking it and leaving the key in the box. There was no damage, fine, or additional charge. After the return, when I checked my card statement, I noticed a charge of €267, and even after 28 days, my deposit has still not been refunded. I emailed Budget Turkey (c*@budget.com.tr), but only received a short and inadequate reply telling me to “contact your bank.” When I called customer service, I was told that since it was an international rental, I needed to send an email again. I resent my email but received no response at all. It is very disappointing not to be able to reach anyone at such a basic level of service from a corporate company. I demand the immediate refund of my delayed deposit to my card.
