Brawl Stars Legendary Star Drop Disappeared After Internet Disconnected Mid-Opening

While playing Brawl Stars on my mobile device with my Google Play account, a legendary character appeared on the Star Drop reward screen after I won a match. Right as I was about to open the reward, I got a "no internet connection" notification and the game closed — so I never received my prize.
When I logged back in, the legendary character was nowhere in my account and the Star Drop was gone with no way to open it again. This was not a paid transaction — it was a free Star Drop earned by winning a match — but the legendary reward never made it into my account.
I have not yet contacted in-game support about this. I am asking that the legendary Star Drop I legitimately earned by winning that match be added to my account, or that I receive compensation of equivalent value.
