Bosch Motorcycle Battery Failed and Replacement Was Delayed for 4 Months
I bought a Bosch motorcycle battery on 2 September 2024. On 1 May 2026 the battery failed and stopped holding charge. I contacted the service where I bought the battery and had the battery inspected. At first they told me it was in good condition. When I objected, they checked it again and this time confirmed that the battery was faulty and told me it would be replaced. However, although they said it would be changed, no action has been taken for 4 months. During this period I visited the service 5–6 times and each time I was told that they would call me in a few days, but I have not received any call or solution. Because I needed my motorcycle, I had to buy another battery at my own expense. At this point, my expectation from Bosch is that the current value of the defective battery, whose fault has been officially acknowledged but not replaced for 4 months, be paid to me in cash.
