Bosch KGN57SB34N Refrigerator Glass Breakage Issue
My Bosch KGN57SB34N refrigerator's lower (freezer) glass was broken during transportation. I was told that only the glass replacement is not possible, and the entire door needs to be changed, costing ₺6,500. The product that was claimed to be unbreakable has now been shattered. ₺6,500 is an exorbitant amount, as only the glass is broken.
Requesting the entire door to be replaced is absurd. Moreover, when I checked the complaints here, the price was mentioned as ₺3,500 just 1 year ago on January 28, 2023. This increase in such a short time is clearly unjustified.
I request the authorities to provide assistance as soon as possible.
First of all, I would like to thank the service for their attention; they responded very quickly and stated that the product could not be covered under warranty and that the spare part prices were fixed. I spoke with a good glazier who cleaned the broken glass and replaced it with the same black tempered glass. The total cost was 400 TL. I recommend this to everyone: do not replace the cover due to broken glass; you can get it fixed for free by consulting a glazier :)
