Bosch Refrigerator Multiple Defects and Exorbitant Warranty Repair Quote





My Bosch refrigerator saga began with a scratched door upon initial delivery. Despite a replacement, the second door also bore scratches. Following a third door change, initial wear and tear on the hinge area was observed, with the plastic flaking off. This issue eventually subsided with regular use. However, a year later, rust stains emerged on the refrigerator door and its edges.
When the authorized service technician arrived, they blamed user error and applied a chemical solution to remove the rust. This attempt worsened the situation, discoloring the treated areas and leaving the refrigerator in a worse state than before. The technician took photos and assured me that Bosch would replace the door due to customer satisfaction.
However, Bosch is now demanding a ₺9,000 repair fee for a product still under warranty. This is an unacceptable and unreasonable demand, especially considering the repeated defects and failed repair attempts.
