Bosch i-DOS Washer Front Panel Corrodes Despite Normal Use
The front panel of our Bosch WAT i-DOS washing machine has rusted, and the underlying metal has corroded and collapsed inward. We only became aware of the issue once it reached this condition. Despite using the appliance under normal household conditions, this level of deterioration on the front panel is not acceptable.
When I reported the issue to Bosch, I was told that the front panel would be replaced free of charge. However, when the service technician arrived, they stated that front panels for i-DOS model washing machines are not replaced free of charge and left without performing any service.
Being promised a free replacement on one hand, while the service team refuses to honor that promise on the other, has caused both inconvenience and a loss of trust in the brand. I do not believe this issue was caused by user error, but rather by a manufacturing or material defect.
In line with Bosch’s original commitment, I am requesting that the front panel of my washing machine be replaced at no cost, and that the inconvenience I have experienced be properly addressed.
The front panel of my Bosch washing machine rusted and collapsed, and I was promised a free replacement. However, the service did not honor this promise, charging a fee of ₺5,500 and only covering ₺1,500. My problem remains unresolved, and I am considering filing a complaint with the District Consumer Arbitration Board. The brand's approach is misleading and far from protecting the consumer.
