Bosch Charged Separate Service Fees for My Washing Machine and Dryer at Same Address

A service fee is charged if we do not want to have the repair done. If we have the repair done, we only pay the repair fee and do not pay a separate fee for the service.

We have three Bosch appliances in our home. When these products reached the end of their lifespan, we continued buying the same brand. In other words, we are "loyal customers" of Bosch. I contacted the authorized service to request support for both the washing machine and dryer. The service representative informed me, "You will pay a 700 ₺ service fee for the washing machine and an additional 700 ₺ for the dryer. This is how Bosch service operates. Do you confirm?" I have several objections: 1. Charging separate service fees for two products at the same address is unfair. Expenses like these negatively affect our budget and cause frustration. 2. Loyal customers with multiple Bosch products are being "punished" through service policies, creating negative feelings toward the brand. 3. Should we avoid purchasing multiple Bosch products for our home? 4. Using "fault diagnosis" as a reason to demand a full service fee for the second product is unreasonable. 5. For the second product, a fee amounting to a quarter of the service charge would be more acceptable. 6. Bosch should support, not penalize, customers who rely on their brand.
