I Face Wrong Room Assignment and Safety Negligence at Asia Beach Resort Alanya
From July 13 to 20, 2025, my family and I stayed at Asia Beach Resort and SPA Hotel in Alanya, a booking I made and fully paid for in advance through Booking.com. Upon arrival, we were not given the room type we had reserved. Instead, the hotel offered a so-called “upgrade” for one night only and demanded we vacate the room the next day. The staff and management were cold, rude, and at times openly threatening.
During our stay, a serious safety incident occurred—one of my family members was badly injured by a large piece of broken glass left on the hotel’s beach area. We then noticed there were no security personnel at the indoor pool or children’s areas. The first aid service was inadequate, and despite multiple requests for basic treatment, we received little assistance. We had to seek hospital care and obtained both a police report and a hospital report.
The morning after the incident, we left the hotel early, feeling unsafe and threatened, and booked another hotel at our own expense. When we complained to hotel management, they made false statements, blamed us, and refused to refund the unused nights. Booking.com offered no solution because the hotel rejected the refund request.
I demand a full refund of €1,570.45 for the original booking and expect both the hotel and Booking.com to address these serious safety and service failures immediately.
