“I would like to thank all the staff at the Otomol Merter branch for their interest and attention in fixing the SOS malfunction in my BMW car.”

For many years, I've been a BMW customer. My BMW 3.18i is showing an urgent emergency alert error. When I took it to an authorized service center, they claimed the battery was defective and demanded 3,200 TL to replace it. I never even used the SOS button, which they claimed was deactivated in our country due to KVKK legislation. It's outrageous to be charged a high price for a feature that doesn't even work in our country. This warning on the screen causes distractions and hinders other functions of the onboard computer, especially when I'm traveling for vacation and changing cities. Looking at the screen all the time reduces driving safety. Dear BMW officials, it is not fair to charge your customers battery fees for a service that your company does not offer in our country. I implore you to address this error as soon as possible, as it calls your brand's dependability into question. I'm hoping BMW doesn't disappoint me.
