BMW 520i Door Handles Turning to Putty - A Quality Letdown!
My 2017 BMW 520i has been plagued by a bizarre issue: both front interior door handles have progressively deteriorated over time, starting about 2 years ago. They've turned into something akin to Play-Doh, becoming sticky and gooey upon touch. This problem has rendered my car nearly impossible to clean, as the handles now stick and disintegrate like dough. I'm the sole owner and a meticulous car owner who regularly has the vehicle's interior cleaned by professionals. Therefore, dismissing this as "chemical use" is not applicable. Given BMW's reputation for quality, I'm utterly baffled by this situation.
