BMW 520i Coating Abrasion Issue

My BMW 520i, with only 78,000 kilometers on the clock, has a coating abrasion on the front inner handle plastic trim. Such quality issues not only diminish my impression of the vehicle but also those of all my friends who have ridden in it.
