Interior Door Handle Coating Issue in My 2016 BMW 3.20i
The coating on the interior door handles of my 2016 model BMW 3.20i started melting, even though there was no impact or chemical intervention. To my dismay, I discovered on forums that this problem has become chronic in these models. With only 95,000 km on my vehicle, such poor material quality is completely unacceptable for the BMW brand. I'm left wondering why the brand hasn't issued a recall for this issue yet, as it doesn't align with BMW's reputation for quality. This experience has raised questions in my mind about the brand's commitment to excellence. I sincerely hope they provide a solution to rectify this situation soon.

At the same time, I don't understand why the side skirts of this vehicle, which has the original Harman Kardon amazing sound system as part of the 40th Anniversary package, vibrate so much when the sound is at around 70% due to the bass. The sound inside is incredible, but from the outside, it sounds like a very simple brand's aftermarket sound system, with the side skirts vibrating noisily. How can the insulation be this poor in a BMW vehicle?
They called for service and examined it, took photos of the faulty parts, and said that I would be contacted again regarding whether the door handles would be replaced based on the response from Borusan. I am waiting for their response.
Thank you to Denizli Özgür Oto BMW service for the solution they provided.
