I purchased Bioderma Photoderm Spot SPF 50+ sunscreen from a pharmacy, fully expecting a high-quality product since I paid a premium price and the product was advertised as dermatologist-recommended. Unfortunately, it completely ruined my skin. I started developing severe acne all over my face—even in areas where I never had breakouts before.
At first, I didn’t suspect the sunscreen. But after stopping its use for a while, my skin began to return to normal. As soon as I reapplied it, my face erupted in breakouts by the evening. It was clear the product was the cause.
I had been gradually trusting Bioderma, even trying other products in their range. But after this awful experience, I will never use their products again. I’m now left with acne scars and emotional frustration over a product that was supposed to protect my skin, not destroy it.
I truly regret not reading the reviews here before purchasing. If I had seen how many others went through similar reactions, I would have saved myself the trouble. Bioderma, if you charge ₺ for a sunscreen that causes skin damage, then you owe your customers both a refund and an apology. Fix your formula or stop marketing this product as suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin.
