While trading futures on Binance using a USDT balance, I am experiencing a recurring issue with stop-loss orders. In my most recent trade, I opened a position about 20 minutes ago and set a 2 USDT stop-loss, but 8 USDT was deducted from my account. I have encountered this same situation many times before—each time, more funds are deducted than the amount I set as the stop-loss.
I could not find any explanation on the platform as to why this is happening, and I have not yet spoken with live support. Having my balance reduced beyond the stop-loss amount I specified is both damaging to trust and makes continuing futures trading risky and unreliable.
I request that Binance conduct a detailed review of my relevant positions and trades, refund the excess amounts deducted despite the stop-loss, and provide a clear and understandable explanation for why this discrepancy occurs.
