On April 21, 2024, I bought a pair of women's boots from Benetton at Cevahir Alibeyköy. Unfortunately, when I attempted to try them on at home, the lace broke immediately. Furthermore, I discovered that the product was missing a lace, which I failed to notice due to my hurriedness. After a week (to be exact, 6 days), when I tried to return the defective product, they told me that they could only give me store credit instead of a cash refund. They explained that this was due to a limit on the number of returns they could process each day. Regrettably, the desired product is not available in other Benetton stores. Now, I've basically thrown away money on a faulty product. According to consumer rights, there is a 14-day window for returning or exchanging defective products. I'm not familiar with any policy that restricts returns to within a single day. Benetton is causing a lot of distress to its customers. It would be much better if they accepted returns for faulty products without any conditions. It's evident that there was no mistake on the user's part; the problem lies solely with the defective product. I need your help right away. If that doesn't work, I'll have to take this up with Consumer Rights. You might end up being responsible for compensation because of your position.
