I Paid Upfront for a 1-Year BEIN Sports Membership but Lost Access Early

In 2024, I contacted beIN Sports customer service by phone to purchase an annual subscription package. During the call, I was clearly informed that the membership would be valid for one full year, and the payment was taken from my credit card in a single upfront charge. I believe this information is also clearly included in the recorded phone conversation with customer service.

The subscription package sold to me was similar to the full Süper Lig package, covering the entire league for one year. However, only six months after my membership started, my account access was suddenly blocked. Around the same time, the system was migrated to the TOD application, but I was unable to log into the app or continue accessing the service I had already paid for.

Despite calling customer support many times, I was never able to reach a live representative. I was repeatedly redirected to automated voice responses, and my issue was never properly resolved.

Even more concerning, I then started receiving SMS messages claiming that I supposedly owed approximately $78 in unpaid debt, despite the fact that the subscription had originally been sold and charged to me as a fully prepaid annual membership in a single payment.

As a result, although I paid upfront in full for what was explicitly presented as a one-year subscription, I was only able to use the service for six months before my access was terminated. On top of that, I am now incorrectly being shown as owing additional money.

I can prove through my credit card statements that the payment was collected in full, upfront, and in a single transaction.

I request a clear explanation as to why this annual subscription was terminated after only six months, cancellation of the unjust debt amount being claimed against me, and either full restoration of the remaining subscription period I already paid for or appropriate financial compensation for the inconvenience and loss of service I experienced.

Otherwise, I will pursue all available legal remedies regarding this matter.

I purchased an annual subscription from Bein Sports, and after receiving service for six months my account was blocked and I couldn't log into the app. I reported the issue repeatedly, received no response, and was issued a debt notice of around ₺3,000. I am demanding a refund and the reinstatement of the remaining subscription period.
