Barclays Bank Name Used by WebTrader Platform Accused of Blocking Investor Funds
On September 29, 2025, I started investing through the platform https://webtrader.barclays-f1nance.***/. I was guided by an investment advisor named A s*** t***, and I carried out my transactions via Binance TR. I initially started with an investment of $234, and over time my total investment increased to $40,950. During the process, I was told that an insurance policy would be arranged and that I needed to deposit an additional $6,000. I made this payment through Binance as well.
About three hours after I was informed that the insurance process had been completed, my access to the account was completely blocked. Since October 17, 2025, at 10:00 PM, I have been unable to log into my account or access my investments. I tried to contact the platform’s customer service and support line, but I received no response at all. I have records of the conversations and screenshots related to these transactions.
This was the first time I used such a platform, and I was victimized in this way. My total loss amounts to $40,950. I demand a full refund of my money and request that such platforms be shut down to prevent similar victims in the future.
