Online buying policies of Banana Republic are utterly unstable. Although they send out special codes, they refuse to provide price changes even within their own 10-day terms and conditions unless it would help to lower prices. Apparently, which makes no logic, a promo code does not count as a price drop. I purchased a $500 item, and they took off 10%; so, I now have a "Final Sale" label on it. It's just annoying that they won't let a basic promo code to cause pricing changes. I tried getting in touch with customer service but nothing came of use. They seem to be merely figuring up methods to lock consumers into terrible offers. For me, there is no more online buying with Banana Republic!
