Baby Mall Refuses Loaner Stroller After Unsafe Kanz Stroller Tips Over
On August 19, 2025, I purchased a Kanz In Street model stroller from the Baby Mall Antalya store. Shortly after I started using it, I noticed several issues. When empty, the stroller moves on its own even in a light breeze, and the braking system operates very stiffly. Although I initially overlooked these issues, the main problem occurred about 10–15 days ago when the stroller tipped over with my daughter inside.
Fortunately, my daughter suffered no physical injuries during the incident, but I realized the stroller was unsafe and completely lost trust in the product. After the incident, I went to the Baby Mall Antalya store in person, handed over the stroller, and submitted a written request on August 1 for it to be sent to technical service. On August 3, I was told it would be shipped on a business day, and on August 4, I received a text message confirming it was being processed.
When I subsequently called Kanz technical service, they informed me that the product arrived on Friday, August 7, but as of today, August 10, they said it might be looked at soon and could not give a definitive date. Although I explicitly explained the urgency at the Baby Mall store—emphasizing that I need a stroller in the Antalya heat—I was not provided with a loaner stroller. Furthermore, despite claiming they cared about the situation, they shipped the product to the manufacturer late, and the fact that no concrete action was taken within 5 legal business days has only added to my frustration.
Due to the safety hazard experienced, previous usage issues, and the slow, indifferent service process, I no longer wish to use this stroller. Therefore, I demand a full return of the stroller and a complete refund of the purchase price.
