ASICS Refused to Replace My Defective Running Shoes





I purchased two pairs of Asics running shoes in March 2024 directly from the official authorized distributor, www.asics.com.tr. One of the shoes developed a tear in the ankle area on the back of the right pair, and I noticed a small opening forming on the left pair as well. I sent the defective pair back with a replacement request and included photos clearly showing the condition of both pairs, which were purchased at the same time and used with the same frequency. However, the shoes were returned to me after a few days with the claim that the defect was not due to the product itself. After this experience, I am considering making future purchases from globally recognized brands directly instead of through a distributor network. The photos clearly show that the damage was not caused by misuse, as the left pair is also starting to show the same defect, indicating an issue with the product.

The company sent an email at 09:19 and reiterated that there was no defect related to the product, not accepting the product's defect. As I said, I will no longer buy or recommend Asics to those around me. I will continue with brands that stand behind their global products.
