Apple Returned My AirPods Without Fixing the Microphone Issue Before Warranty Ends
I sent my AirPods to Apple service with tracking number 2505-636032 due to a persistent microphone issue. During phone calls, the person on the other end hears my voice as muffled and cutting in and out. Despite clearly describing the problem, I received my AirPods back with a note saying, “Inspected and tested. No issues found in HDI and sound tests.”
The problem still exists, and the microphone clearly isn’t functioning properly during actual use. What’s worse, my warranty is about to expire, and it feels like the issue is being brushed off instead of genuinely investigated.
As someone who has relied on the Apple ecosystem for years, I’m deeply disappointed by this experience. Apple, I expect better. Please re-evaluate my AirPods properly, replicate the issue in a real-world call scenario, and repair or replace the product before the warranty ends. This needs to be resolved—not dismissed.
