Apple Pencil Damaged My iPad Screen and Warranty Refused to Cover Repairs
I purchased an Apple iPad tablet along with the Apple Pencil. We used the tablet and pencil for studying, drawing, and playing games. After some time, we noticed scratches on the screen caused by the pencil, and the pencil's sensitivity started to decrease. I sent both the tablet and pencil to the warranty service. They claimed the pencil issue was due to user error, stating the tip was broken and asked for a fee of ₺300. For the tablet, they said there was no software problem but that the scratches on the screen were also due to user error and that repairs on the iPad screen were not possible. However, there was no user error; we used the products as intended. The pencil was only used on the iPad (never on a wall or the ground) and we used nothing other than the pencil on the tablet. For three weeks, I have been dealing with this issue, which does not reflect Apple’s usual quality. While Ms. Ö*** from Apple customer service tried her best to assist, her authority was limited, and my concerns remained unresolved. I request a refund of the ₺300 I paid for the pencil and for my tablet to be repaired under warranty.
