My 2020 MacBook Air with the M1 chip stopped working just one month after the warranty expired, without any reason. There was no drop, impact, shaking, or liquid damage, and the laptop’s casing shows no signs of wear. I’ve used it very lightly, and yet it still broke. It seems like Apple might be engaging in planned obsolescence, as there are thousands of complaints similar to mine.
