Amazon Sonicare 9000 Replacement Delayed Due to No Stock
Some time ago I purchased a Philips Sonicare 9000 electric toothbrush from Amazon Turkey. Shortly after I started using the device, I noticed an assembly malfunction: the motor section was faulty and the device was operating very noisily. I took the product to the authorized service, and as a result, a dealer replacement form was issued and it was decided that the device should be replaced with a new one. Despite this clear replacement decision, Amazon informed me that they cannot currently perform the exchange because the product is out of stock. They are asking me to wait until it is back in stock but they do not provide any timeframe. At the same time, they state that if I choose a refund, they will refund only the amount I paid at the time of purchase, whereas the same device is now being sold at roughly double the price. Because the product became defective through no fault of mine and an official replacement decision was made, I do not find it fair that I am forced either to wait indefinitely or to accept a refund at the old price while the current sales price has almost doubled. I simply want my defective Sonicare 9000 to be replaced with a new device of the same model in line with the replacement decision, without any loss of rights due to the price increase. I request that Amazon Turkey urgently provide a clear and reasonable solution, either by supplying a new Sonicare 9000 or, if that is impossible, by offering an equivalent model under fair conditions that does not put me at a financial disadvantage compared with today’s prices.
