I bought a pair of summer motorcycle gloves from Amazon Turkey for ₺845. Since Amazon handles customs and shipping for the products it sells, and this item was listed with free shipping, I wasn’t expecting to pay anything extra. My brother received it on my behalf and called me while I was half asleep after a night shift. Not fully awake, I said “okay” on the phone, and PTT Cargo charged him an additional ₺520. I can’t help but feel like this was done in bad faith. When I contacted PTT customer service, they said they couldn’t see any fee details and told me to call Hatay İskenderun PTT Cargo.
