Amazon Personal Data Deletion Request

I am writing to report a serious security and data protection concern regarding my Amazon account and to request the permanent closure of my account and deletion of my personal data in line with GDPR. I am registered with Amazon Turkey, using a phone number with the country code +90. Today, I received an SMS containing an Amazon verification code written in Japanese, even though I am not Japanese and have no connection to Amazon Japan. The content and language of this message make me believe that someone else may be trying to use my phone number or that my number has been incorrectly associated with another account. After receiving this unexpected verification code in Japanese, I tried to contact Amazon customer service to report the issue and to ensure that my account and personal data are protected. However, I did not receive any response or clear support regarding this matter. This lack of feedback is very concerning for me, especially in terms of the security of my personal data and my rights within the scope of GDPR. Due to this incident and the absence of an adequate response, I no longer trust the safety of my information on your platform. I request that my Amazon account registered in Turkey with my +90 number be permanently closed, and that all my personal data associated with this account be deleted in accordance with GDPR and relevant data protection regulations. I also request written confirmation that my account has been closed, and that my data has been deleted, and information on any security measures taken regarding the possible misuse of my phone number. I expect this issue to be handled urgently, that my data protection rights be respected, and that I be informed clearly about the steps taken.
